Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with synthetic N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), corresponding to amino acid residues 13-27 (MAbs 16F3), a.a.r. 28-45  (MAb 15D7) and a.a.r. 61-76 (MAbs 28F8). The peptides used for immunization were conjugated with carrier protein.

Specificity:
Human NT-proBNP and proBNP.
MAb Isotypes:
IgG1 for MAbs 15D7, 16F3
IgG2a for MAb 28F8
Applications:
NT-proBNP and proBNP immunoassay. All MAbs are working in Western Blotting.
These pairs recognize the antigen in blood of patients with heart failure, unstable angina and myocardial infarction.
MAbs specific to peptides 13-27 (MAb 16F3) recognize circulating proBNP and can be used for the development of quantitative proBNP assays in pairs with anti-BNP MAbs (Cat.# 2-BNP). The best pairs (capture-detection):
50E1 (Cat.# 2-BNP) – 16F3 (Cat.# 2-NT-proBNP)
Purification:
Chromatography on protein A Sepharose
Presentation:
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
Storage Conditions:
+ 4 °C
Material Safety Note:
This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research use only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material.Contains sodium azide (0.1 %) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
